Written by a well-known Traverse City author, this history of Garfield Township in Grand Traverse County, Michigan recounts the early pioneers, schools, businesses, transportaion, etc. The text is illustrated with many interesting historical photos. Bound in the original publisher's glossy pictorial covers, they are in very nice condition. With the exception of a previous owner's name in pencil as well as his blindstamp on the lower corner of the front free end paper, the book is clean, tight and unmarked.
