Castro Valley, CA: Black Bird Press, 1998. Trade Paperback. vii, 277p., illus., inscribed and signed by the poet on title page to African American actor J. B. Saunders who in turn inscribed it to a friend, rubbed and worn wraps. The autobiography by the African American poet, although focusing on his conversion to Islam, contains considerable material on the Black Panthers and other radical movements of the 1960s and 1970s.

New York: Le Blanc Publications, 1955. Pamphlet. [20p.] staplebound booklet, mild handling wear, otherwise very good except for a penned note on the rear cover stating that the reader's "candid opinion is earnestly requested." Small pen correction to text on rear cover; it stated that Trotsky had been killed by gunshot, but "gunshot" is inked out. The authors were associates of the fascist Francis Parker Yockey, and they echo his argument for a far right alliance with the Soviet Union, seen by the 1950s as having shed its allegedly Jewish origins. They refer to the Western world as the "Jewish consensus," depicting it as pitted against a "Great Russiandom" with the "total support of the Colored World," in a "coming struggle for All or Nothing.

Detroit: Wayne State University Press, 1975. Hardcover. 198p., illustrations, cloth boards with an inoffensive bookplate, enclosed in dust jacket, book is near-fine while the dust jacket is quite rubbed with edgewear and a short tear.

Barcelona: Exclusivas Ferma, 1960. 204p., green boards gilt-titled and -panelled, very good copy with flyleaf thoughts regarding this production by the former owner, who is not entirely approving of fiction. Jesuit author. Text in Spanish.

Dayton, OH: Peter Xavier, 1953. 8.5x11 inch mimeographed sheet, toned on blank verso, signed in pen by Xavier at lower right. Xavier worked with various far-right groups including the National States Rights Party, gaining infamy for burning crosses and later being charged in the shooting of a Black man in a fight between NSRP members and Black protesters in Berea, Kentucky. Here he calls for withdrawal from the United Nations, and boasts of having dragged the "Spider Web" flag of the UN through the streets in Dayton.

Dayton, OH: Peter Xavier, 1952. 8.5x14 inch mimeographed handbill, folded for mailing, "Native Fascist" penciled in corner. Signed in pen by Xavier at lower right. Xavier worked with various far-right groups including the National States Rights Party, gaining infamy for burning crosses and later being charged in the shooting of a Black man in a fight between NSRP members and Black protesters in Berea, Kentucky. Here he compares the contemporary political situation to the time when, "In the darkest hour of the Revolution, General Washington gathered his ragged, starving forces and struck at Trenton." Outlines a campaign to attack the UN and "the internationalist treason candidates: Stevenson and Eisenhower" through public demonstration, convoys dragging the UN flag on the ground through public squares, burning the presidential candidates in effigy, etc. "WARNING! One chapter heading-- "The uplifting of the proletariat," --bespeaks a church forced to grapple a little with Marx's vocabulary.
