Most of the buildings in the photographs contained within this book were torn down long ago.

This listing is for a 3-ring binder in shrink-wrap, and course-materials, and dividing tabs, pre-punched and also sealed in shrink-wrap. Rated as good due to lack of information on this publication, such as the year of publication and relevancy of some of the chapter sections. We want to preserve the integrity of original packaging, so these details are a mystery. Nonetheless, despite not knowing the exact contents of each section, a teacher of youngsters still might find information useful in current educational settings. Large binder.. 11w x 11.5 h. DJ is scuffed, scratched, with areas of soiling. Yellowed DJ with more significant sunning to spine. Top edge of DJ at the spine has moisture stain. Sticker remnants on bottom edge of DJ at spine. Green cloth boards with gilt titling and subtitling and author name on front cover and along spine. The moisture staining evident at the top of DJ has created rippling between hinge crease both front and back. Soiling to edges of FFE. FFE also has vertical crease due to the width of page as is the nature of printing. Tiny foxing spots on top of text block, with staining near spine of bottom edge of text block. Staining to outside edge of text block. Interesting bit of history of the old, stately homes to be found in Talladega, Alabama.

McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1945. Hardcover. Acceptable. Blue cloth boards are worn along all edges, including the top and bottom of the spine. Corners are worn and dented. Front and back boards are worn and faded. Gilt lettering on spine. Pages, end pages and paste downs have yellowed, with darker yellowing on the outside edges. Outer edge of text block has damp staining from top edge to an inch down, and top of text block has an inch long similar stain from the outer edge towards the spine. While there is this stain, none of the pages show similar staining. Bottom of text block has an inch long large blue stain. Front end page is stamped: Wisconsin Employment Relations Board - State Capitol, Madison Wisconsin. Book is quite readable.

American Book Company, 1905. Hardcover. Acceptable. Hardback. Green textured boards are scraped, stained, scuffed. Lots of edge wear, shelf wear. The top of spine strip is very worn through. Dented corner tips. Scraping to spine edges. The paste downs and end pages are in remarkably good shape and have a few fingerprint smudges and just a bit of darkening in the hinge. Previous owner name written in pencil at top of FFE. Textblock has darkened with staining to the top and fore edge. Very firm binding. No twisting. No page loss. Stains on pages 64 and 65 (looks to be a liquid spill). 252 pages.

Rubbing to the soft wraps, with light scraping along saddle stitched (stapled) binding. Rear wrap is lightly yellowed, as are the pages. Pages free of writing. 34/35 pages. Price non-negotiable.

Bottom of front cover is torn and has large diagonal crease. Back cover has significant wear at lower corner. Front and back corners and edges are bumped and worn. First six pages are bent/dogeared at lower corner. Covers are lightly yellowed, scuffed and scratched. Spine is worn with light rippling on front and back covers. Remainder mark on the bottom of outer page block.

The DJ is rubbed, scraped, with deeper scratches on the back cover. Crimping and scraping along cover edges. Tears to the DJ at upper edge of spine has been repaired with scotch tape. Black textured boards, with red foil titling and duplicating the front of DJ. As noted, this book is heavy, and as such, the lower corner of back board is quite dented, with the other cover tips being minorly so. Head of spine is dented, with heel of spine being more so. Red paste downs and end pages are free of markings. Outer edges of glossy pages appear to have light tanning to them, but very faintly. This book will appeal to aviation buffs. 329 pages.

The sections are two different stories: Eight Notches, and In an Upside-down World. Inscribed by author, dated "X-mas 1951." Yellow, textured pictorial covers are smudged and soiled. Vertical creases top to bottom on front and rear wraps. Rusted binding staples. Tears to first and last pages around the staples. This makes the "binding" condition somewhat fragile. Bumped tips and head and heel of spine. 90 pages total.
