Descripción:
A good or better copy with recent professional binding repair. Now tightly bound with some foxing, but mostly clean pages. This is the first book Edgar Rice Burroughs ever wrote for publication. Though it was published by All-Story magazine in 1911, it wasn't published in hardback until Oct. 10, 1917 by A.C. McClurg & Co. They only printed this title one time, so any book bearing their name on the spine is a first edition. The binding is dark brown and the lettering is orange. Frank E. Schoonover illustrated the dust jacket and five interior drawings. A total of 10,200 copies were printed.
