Slim hardback book, with cloth binding and spine bound in blue in contrast to the full cover in diamond shaped pattern of blue and grey.Bumping to corners. Tight binding and clean pages. Full of black and white illustrations and the text has the appearance of being handwritteni in italics. First edition AB82

One day he overhears someone say ""....to be a mouse is to be a villan"". He is very upset, and decides that he will show everyone that a mouse can be useful. Written by the director of the scottish zoological park this is a lovely little book on animals with nice illustrations Blue boards with silver writing to front with the silver torch on the front. Bumped all round, nice tight binding and clean pages. Some marks to the cover front and back. AB29

It is undated but on the front cover is an owner inscription January 1945.The front cover is colour illustrated with a horse and fowl, really lovely colours. It is unused apart from the owner inscription. Very nice for those who collect childrens ephemera. AB29

One of the series of childrens stories written by the famous author Laura Valentine, this tells of adventures at the seaside with beautiful colour illustrations. Slim paperback book. Front cover is torn at the top and bottom and there is bumping rubbing and shelf wear. The pages are foxed and there is an inscription in the front from a father to his son xmas 1867. The spine is very worn. AB82

This is in the oxford story readers series and is a hard to find copy, it has red cloth cover with lovely black writing to the cover. It is from the french by Charles Nodier. Nice black and white illustrations. Some bumping and the front right corner has a crease. AB29
