Dublin: W. Lawrence, Photographic Publisher. 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Catherine Tucker. Red cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering and decoration. No date but circa 1880-1890. 11 accordion-fold pages, 44 views of Belfast, all vehicles shown are horse-drawn. Rear pastedown has ads of Gt. Northern Railway Co. and Great Southern & Western Railway. Light wear and chips to edges and spine, but still very presentable.

Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Beige boards, black lettering and gilt-stamped wildflower design. No date,but circa 1890. Contains 14 folding panel with scenes of New York, Boston Philadelphia,Washington, Niagara Falls, Cleveland, Cincinatti, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, New Orleans, Kansas City, Yosemite Valley & Pacific Coast, Salt Lake City. and San Francisco. Includes birdseye views of New York and Philadelpia. Cover is spotted, chipped and worn. Contents are corner-chipped and illustration backings are foxed, but illustrations are quite clear.

New York: American Railway Bureau, 1860. Soft cover. Fair. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. 16pp. Dampstaining and soiling mainly to front page, light edgewear. Newspaper format, pages are uncut and unopened, measures 58 x 40 inches, published weekly, Vol II No. VII. Subtitle of publication reads: "Public Works, Engineering, Steam Machinery, Finance and Patents" and includes numerous articles on those subjects, and several engraved illustrations of industrial equipment, plus advertising. An uncommon and diversified publication of early railroading.

Nwe York: Association of American Art Students, 1922. Soft cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 27pp. Stapled stiff wraps. Very mild sunning to cover, contents clean, staples rusty. Articles directed to the art student include figure drawing, artist's materials and modern art.

Boston: The Home Science Publishing Company, 1900. Soft cover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 48pp. Illustrated wraps. Cover is mildly age-toned, contents are clean, front cover and corners of first 3 pages slighty dog-eared, faint "Sample Copy" stamped on lower fornt cover. Articles include "Thanksgiving Notes" by Mary J. Lincoln, "Training Children in Dietetics" and others, plus numerous recipes and period ads. A nice copy.

Amesbury, Massachusetts: The Whittier Press. Soft cover. Very Good. Oblong 8vo. Catherine Tucker. 30pp. No date circa 1920. Grey card stock wraps. Cover and contents are in very good condition. Photos and descriptions of the home of John Greenleaf Whittier.

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1936. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 368pp. Blue cloth, gilt lettering. Book is sound, light wear and slight fading of spine. Laid-in are 3 letters addressed to the book's owner, Alexander William Armour with references to the book about Viscount Knebworth, son of Victor Bulwer-Lytton. Letters are from A.J. Armstrong of Baylor University, Charles Erdman of The Theological Seminary of Princeton, New Jersey, and one letter is unsigned from someone in Greenwich, Connecticut. Two of the three letters are handwritten, and the Erdman lettter is typed and signed and contains a personal note at the end. Contents of the letters are mix of business and personal, mostly of a personal nature. Owner's name and bookplate on front endpapers, another personal handwritten note tipped-in at front. Also laid-in is brochure for the Knebworth House, Herts, the home of Bulwer-Lytton, and the rear panel of the book's dust jacket.… Leer más

Portland, Maine: L.H. Nelson Company, 1905. Soft cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Unpaginated (48pp). Stapled stiff green and buff illustrated wraps. Covers lightly soiled, some tearing along spine, light edgewear, contents toned but clean except for stain to inside rear cover and margin of last page. Numerous photos of familiar Asbury Park and Ocean Grove scenes along with brief descriptions.

Chicago: Merchant's World's Fair Bureau of Information Company, 1893. Soft cover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. 216pp. Black pebble grain card stock, gilt lettered, 13 x 14 inch folding map. Cover is scuffed and worn, lettering faded but readable, front cover hinge tape repaired, pages 171-194 have a small v-shaped cut in the top margin not affecting text, contents are clean. Small tape repair to folding map at left margin barely affecting map. Map is otherwise in sound condition. The map depicts the buildings and grounds of the exposition at Jackson Park and Midway Plaisance. Book is illustrated throughout. Both book and scarce map are in surprisingly good condition considering its age.

Seth W. Fowle & Sons., 1883. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. 16pp. Yellow pictorial wraps, sewn binding. Moderate soiling and spotting to covers, contents are toned and occasionall lightly spotted, but mostly clean. cover barely attached. A story told in rhyme for each letter of the alphabet, with each letter accompanied by a small but finely-detailed engraving, extolling the wonders of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry for numerous ailments, plus testimonials and endorsements for Peruvian Syrup. A very attractive primer, and it has nothing to do with vinegar!

Bridgeport, CT, 1949. Soft cover. Very Good. Oblong 8vo. 44p. unpaginated. Yellow card stock wrapper. Light soil to cover and mild toning to contents. Souvenir program of the first Barnum Festival, illustrated. Laid-in is a Festival bulletin listing some of the events taking place during the Festival from June 10-14, 1949.

American Directory and Publlishing Co., 1894. Hardcover. Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 212pp. Heavy card stock plain boards, stapled binding. Boards and several pages of ads are soiled, chipped and detached but present, spine perished, endpapers lacking, text block is evenly tanned but is otherwise unworn and is complete, map not present. Includes a business directory, street and avenue directory, government listings, organizations and a business directory of Ansonia, Derby, Shelton, Seymour, MIlford, Stratford, Fairfield, Long Hill, Newtown and Southport. There are numerous ads, (some illustrated), plus other relevant and interesting information about Bridgeport and its environs.

Washington: 19th Congress House of Representatives, 1826. Soft cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. pp. Disbound, pages tanned, and otherwise unmarked. Report on the feasability "of making a survey of a canal route from Canton to Weymouth, Massachusetts for the purpose of ascertaining the practicability of uniting the waters of Boston Harbor with the Naraganset Bay.

Syracuse, NY: Dey Brothers & Company, 1906. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Oblong 4to. 23pp unpaginated. Stiff purple stapled wraps, gilt lettering and decoration. Photo illustrations of prominent sites and locations of Syracuse. Mild fade to front cover and small label removal abrasion, 1/4 inch tear to lower rear cover. Contents are in very nice condition.

Saginaw, Michigan: Seemann & Peters, 1893. First Edition . Soft cover. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. 42pp. Flexible card stock. Very mild shelfwear, contents clean, very neat notations and underlining to portions of text. Book was compiled by Lieutenant Charles Braden "to aid Camdidates in preparing for entrance to the United States Military Academy." The author further states the book "should be used in connection with one of the standard histories, as Swinton's or Barnes'." An early example of an exam preparation book for military education.

Light chipping and corner creasing, retail store stamp on front cover, contents are tanned but unmarked, die cut hole for string. Promotional information for De Laval products plus almanac and household information.

Oneida, NY: The Burt Olney Canning Co.. Soft cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 32pp. No date circa 1930. Brown stiff wraps. Cover and contents are very clean and fesh-looking. An amusing story promoting Burt Olney's Products followed by recipes utilizing Burt Olney's Products, with photo illustrations.

Light cover soil, light foxing to margin of one page, centerfold page loose but present. Photos of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, formerly known as Togus. Numerous photos of the campus as well as several interior views.

Dearborn , Michigan: Edison Institute, 1929. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 30pp. No date but presumably 1929. Stapled pamphlet. Light soil to covers, contents clean. Published for the opening of the Museum and Village in 1929.
