In grey boards with white spine and silver type. Tiny dents to top rear corners -undoubtedly made by a cat or kitten. A few spots to top page ends, otherwise, sharp corners, clean interior and solid binding. Jacket unclipped with some very faint moisture stain to bottom inside at spine.

A true account of Cabeza de Vaca's remarkable expedition across the North American continent, 1528-1536. Book and unclipped jacket in great shape, only some light edgewear to jacket at spine ends with one nick to top.

A beautiful copy, still glossy with sharp corners and only a crease to middle of spine denoting someone looking at the 80 photos in the book. Appears unread. Red tinted page ends.

In blue cloth with gilt to type. Some foxing to page ends, otherwise a lovely copy with sharp corners and tight binding. Jacket is unclipped ($25.00) with tape reinforcement to interior and exterior at flap creases, exterior of spine and top and bottom of spine interior. Scuffing and creasing evident with some short tears - mostly to head of spine.

Originally published in 1919, this is the 19th printing from the same publisher inscribed by the author in 1972 at the age of 91. In beautiful blue cloth with bright gilt to type. Virtually no wear with sharp corners and tight binding. Only some marks/small stains to top and front page ends. Jacket is unclipped ($7.00) with 3/4 inch tear at bottom of spine and front panel, several shorter tears to edges, small chip to head of same and areas of creasing. A couple punctures to rear panel. Illustrated.

The facsimile edition printed in cream colored boards with gilt to design motif and ribbon ties - a lovely copy with just short tgift inscription to ffep. Includes pamphlet with thread binding and is enclosed in green cloth covered box with tipped in paper labels with some scuffs to rear label and creassing to top of spine - Very Good.
