What remains of the dust jacket has been glued onto the front free endpaper (photo #3). Blue fabric cover shows very little wear. Gilt print and decoration on the spine. Owner's bookplate inside the front cover. The pages are clean, tight and intact, with mild age-related toning. For a book nearing 90 years old, this copy is in great condition. I should look so good.

Although produced by the University of Santa Catrina in Florianopolis, Brazil, the contents are entirely in English. This is a professional research publication. No significant wear. Pages are clean and tight. An inscription can be found on the title page.

Some wear around the edges and at the corners. Scattered notes throughout the book. In remarkably good condition for all the years and miles it has travelled. This is one of a number of books I acquired at an estate sale in Seattle that originally belonged to one Gertrude Pritchard of England in the early 1900s. I have gathered all of these books in a catalogue called "Pritchard Library".

This is a professional journal from Brazil. Since it is from the Graduate Program in English, most of the papers presented here are in English. The remainder are presented in Portuguese. Fifteen papers and four book reviews are presented herein. This publication is produced once each semester.

Black leatherette cover shows some wear at the lower corners and the top and bottom of the spine. Gilt print on front, a few stains on the rear. Owner's name inside the front cover. No other marks have been found. Pages are clean and tight. After about 63 pages of instruction on translation techniques, over half the book is given over to readings where one could practice translation. Ends with 28 pages of indices. A fairly rare book. This book will ship at nearly three pounds. Excess shipping costs are included in the list price.
