Unpaginated volume printed on rectos only. Covers lightly soiled and worn. A very good example. This copy has been SIGNED by Alice on the copyright page. In addition, Carey has INSCRIBED this copy on the title page. Uncommon volume to be sure.

A handsome fine copy in unclipped and unfaded dustwrapper. Three early plays by the author od The Double Dream of Spring and other award winning works of poetry. Despite a seemingly sufficient print run, these clothbound copies are uncommon, especially when found in this superb condition.

This set of pages is hand-labeled "my copy of corrected 1st proofs, TR." These proof pages have numerous hand corrections in pencil. Sheets are all in very good or better condition. A copy of the published book by Coach House Press is included with this item for comparison purposes. It is a stated first printing of the trade paperbound original book. Ron Padgett has confirmed that he was the one who corrected these proofs.
