Very little wear. I believe I can say without fear of contradiction that no other used bookseller is offering this particular volume. This is the master's thesis I picked up at a recent estate sale. I look at this, done on very thin paper, by typewriter and I think about my own thesis, composed some 34 years later and how even in 1995, the universities were just beginning to deal with the idea of preparing a thesis on a computer. The painstaking work done in this one is something that we will not see again now that computers have permeated our lives. This is a piece of history, as well as a primary source of data.

No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with mild edgewear, mainly on the lower edge. Pages are clean and tight, with a very small amount of margin notes in pencil. Owner's name inside the front cover and on the lateral page edges. A scarce book. The book will ship at over three pounds. Excess shipping costs are included in the list price.

A thin book of heavy statistics. Seems to be an important work that is rather highly valued. My search came up with over sixty copies, most priced far above my price, so consider this a bargain, if you will. A part of the Sage University Papers Series. There is little wear to the book, a small amount of highlighting in pink and yellow, and a number written on the front cover.

No dust jacket. Formerly a part of the Washington State Library. Book shows some wear, especially at the corners and base of the spine. Lower right front corner is worn completely through the fabric (see photo #4). Remains of a sticker on the front cover, another library sticker on the front endpaper. Pages are tight and intact, with a few scattered pencil notes and a small amount of highlighting in Chapter 4 only. A lot of really cool-looking math contained herein. Seems like a very rare book. My search turned up just a few, all of which are in Europe.

The book shows some wear on the cover (chips and rubs), but the pages are pristine. No highlighting or underlining that I can find. Owner's name inside from cover and embossed on the title page. Was used as a graduate level textbook for an Educational Research class. From the early days of hand-held calculators, the book has various mathematical tables in the Appendix. Still a useful book if you want to design some research in your classroom and then determine if the results mean anything.

A brief discussion of research related to learning styles. Little wear. Small amount of underlining and margin notes.

Minor cover wear. Doesn't seem to be any underlining, highlighting or margin notes. Pages all clean and intact. As the book was published in 1981, there is no reference to computers or the internet in terms of research, or to HIPPA regulations, but otherwise, the techniques are just as applicable today as they were then. One thing is certain, doing the math is far easier in today's computerized world. 1981 was he dawn of the personal computer age.

Two stamps on the front free endpaper have been blacked-out, but one on the top page edges shows this to have once been owned by an MD at the National Cancer Institute. The only date in the book is 1956, but the copyright page has an ISBN, idicating that it dates from 1971 or later.

Little wear. A magazine-sized book. Slight curl to the far edges of the covers. Lightly bumped corners. Spine square and uncreased, pages clean and intact. A rare book.
