Very little wear, almost like new. Dust jacket has a bit of price sticker residue on the back over the bar code. A collection of answers to questions of less than earth shaking importance. From "Why is the sky blue?" to "Why are men's underwear known as BVDs?" to "Why do camels have humps?" So, if you want to know stuff, buy this book.

A rare edition. All I have found online are editions from the early 20th century. This would be a great sourcebook for quiz nights. I was a teacher for 40 years, but some of these questions stump me.
No dust jacket. The tan fabric covered boards show just mild wear at the edges and corners, and there is one small dark stain on the right hand edge of the front cover. The real wear problem is that the endpapers have split, both front and rear. Photo #3 shows the front split, the rear is worse. New endpapers might well be in order, if you feel up to that.

Minimal shelf wear. Clean, intact, undamaged. 304 pages. The author was the webmaster for Xerox, and came to be known as the answer man for all sorts of questions. His goal was to answer every question emailed to him within 24 hours. Questions, answers and related factoids are gathered here into twenty topics, from Animal Kingdom and Clothing to Weather and the World.

Very little wear to the book or jacket. 304 pages are clean, tight and bright. Author is an internet legend for answering anybody's question, no matter how weird or arcane. Now, his answers are a book. (Ok, they have been in a book since the last century, but if you haven't read it, then it is new to you.)

In here, too. 115 trivia questions, with answers. The booklet ends with two poems about Oregon written by the author. He didn't number the pages, and I don't feel like counting, but I'd say between 30 and 40. Little sign of wear, just one black smudge on the otherwise unadorned back cover, right next to a little price sticker residue.back

First edition, 156 pages. A collection of, as the title says, useless information. Page after page of little blurbs of trivia, organized into chapters for no apparent reason. There is even an index, in case you happen to be looking for a specific item of trivia. Pages show no real wear, but the front cover has two tears, a 2cm tear along the lower spine and a 1 cm tear at the opposite edge near the word "ATE". No spine creases.

The cover has suffered a bit, with a 5.5 cm tear along the lower rear part of the spine, and many other chips and impacts. The pages are all clean and brightly colored. Although there is no staining, the pages do give the impression that they had been exposed to a bit of moisture at some point in the past. This large book will ship at over three pounds. Excess shipping costs have been included in the list price.

Little wear to book or dust jacket. A small section of pages has a little wrinkle at the lower free corner; looks as if the book might have been dropped once. No impact of readability. 426 pages of answers to some of the burning questions of the day (ok, maybe just slightly smoldering questions). Some examples: "When was ice cream first made?"; "How are rainbows formed?", "What is meant by feet of clay?", "Why is the Black Sea called black?"
