Very scarce only English edition of a French spiritual classic, written by Abbe Perreyve during a period of extended debilitating illness. An interesting work dealing with disability and sickness from a spiritual perspective. Written in a direct second-person in a tone of deep respect and regard, the language throughout affirms the dignity, agency, and spiritual power of those dealing with bodily infirmity.
