Sobre este artículo
Bergen, Norway: Bergen Line, 1956. Book. Illus. by Color Plates and black/white Photos. Very Good. Hardcover. Second Printing. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. This helpful guide was written before the Norwegian shipping lines were combined to provide mail and freight service to coastal villages, as well as a fine voyage up the western coast from Bergen to Kirkenes on the Russian border. Although the ships have become larger and more comfortable, this is a delightful guide of what was seen in the 1950s, some 70 years ago, and how the scenery remains unchanged. Pages 64. Very good hardback with printed cover with a seagull, and very good dustjacket, having some edgewear, protected in a clear, mylar sleeve. I recommend taking it along on your next Hurtigruten voyage. Folding map at the rear, and "With the compliments of the Captain, R. Huss"..
