Early C20th library binding: wavy-grained brown cloth, lettered in gilt on spine (including shelf-marks), occasional library stamps ("The Noble Library, Lambeth") throughout, smudgy marks in margins: a good reading copy, of a scarce title. A collection of short stories and novelettes by the less well-known and less successful of the Gerard sisters. The stories are: Elias of Blotatyn, Two Robbers: A Legend, Magda's Cow, Grey Fur & His Uncle and Her Grandmother.
