Original green cloth gilt over heavy bevelled boards, small snag at rear edge of the spine, small mark on the rear board and a very much smaller mark on the front board, elaborate floral gilt end-papers, loose printed presentation bifolium presenting the book to the REVEREND CRONIN, CAMBRIDGE, 1903 [ both Cronin, Oxford, and Mrs. Cronin, Cambridge, are listd amongst the foreign representatives at the celebration ], and subsequent ms. inscription presenting it to the Medical Department Library, Cambridge, 1923, faint browning at the page edges, else a very good copy. *The Preface and Historical Introduction are printed in parallel Cyrillic and French, pp. 135; the Letters of Address and of Felicitation from foreign dignitaries are in appropriate languages, pp.136-189; the remainder of the text is in Cyrillic.
