Laid in are more than 30 period photographs of family and friends. . Pages are bright and clean; binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. This is the 1929 yearbook for Central Normal College, located in Danville, Indiana. It is 122 pages long, with all the usual things found in a yearbook. The text block is in very good condition. There are no missing pages and except for the signatures of fellow students, the pages are clean and perfectly readable; the many b/w photos are excellent as well. Central Normal existed from 1878 to 1951 (the last five years under the name Canterbury College). It was one of the nation's early "normal" schools, which specialized in training teachers. Scarce. 1st Edition; this is NOT a modern reprint. 122pp. . 4to 11" - 13" tall. 122 pages. D6 .
