Sobre este artículo
Toronto: M.F. Feheley, 1976. First edition. Hardcover. Orig. brown cloth. Fine in very good dust wrapper. Pope, William. 175 pp. Thirty-six four-color plates with accompanying commentary by J. Fenwick Landsdowne. Index. Pope emigrated from Kent, England and settled in Port Ryerse, Ontario. Canada's first artist-naturalist, his watercolors are artistically comparable to those of his contemporary, Audubon. Selections from Pope's very literate journals, he was well educated and a keen observer, are also reproduced here.
