This is a 1960s vintage copy, in a dust jacket priced at $2.95 (the book was mentioned in the Idaho State Journal on 1 December 1967 with that price). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket with wear at the corners.
Sinopsis
The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins is a children's book, written by Dr. Seuss and published in 1938. Unlike the majority of Dr. Seuss's books, it is written in prose rather than rhyming and metered verse. The characters of Bartholomew and King Derwin appear again in a later book, Bartholomew and the Oobleck. Set in feudal times, the story begins in the Kingdom of Didd, when King Derwin is riding through a street past Bartholomew Cubbins, a poor boy in the market.
