1793. Third work is a second revised edition. Half-Leather. Very Good. 53; 161, vi; 72; 118; 24; 42 p. 21 cm (items 5 & 6 are 19 cm). Three engraved vignettes. New half leather binding with marbled boards. Moderate foxing and occasional thumbing. Ink notations on front endpaper. Last three items have mild to medium foxing.

The six articles are: 1. Deffense de Louis Seize. This first work is attributed to Jacques-Antoine-Marie de Cazales, French orator and politician who fought in the army of the emigres against Revolutionary France. 2. Histoire de la Conspiration du 10 Aout 1792, by Louis Claude Bigot de Sainte-Croix, is an account of the insurrection that led to the downfall of the French monarchy (London, 1793). 3. Essai sur L'Armee Hollandaise, par un Colonel de Troupes Légeres (London, 1793). 4. L'Ami des Loix, Comedie en Cinq Actes, en Vers. This item is a drama by Jean Louis Laya who on the title page is referred to as "Citoyen" in true revolutionary style (Paris, 1793). 5. Memoire des Deputes de Francfort a la Convention Nationale, au Sujet de La Reprise de Cette Ville par les Troupes Allemandes. 6. Pieces Justificatives don't les Originaux, ou Copies duement légaliseés, ont été remises à M. le Ministre des Affaires Etrangeres (1793).
