Decorative jacket over one quarter maroon cloth with maroon paper-covered boards. 161 numbered pp. First Edition, Stated, with BCDE number line, which was Harcourt's practice at the time. Minor shelf wear. Small fray at head of front jacket panel. Some light rubbing at ends of spine. Jacket is not price-clipped, but price has been crossed out in pencil by previous owner. Else fine. A handsome copy with bright, clean internals. Very Good.
