Editions Medicina Rara, n.d. [1980?]. Paperback. Near Fine. Near Fine folio size softcover in slipcase. Three volumes facsimile reprints, all in blue/grey stiff paper wrappers. These three volumes are details of the human auditory organs (1806), illustrations of the human taste and vocal organs (1806) and illustrations of the human olfactory organs (1809). Text is in German, but the iluustrations for the time periods when they were created are incredible detail. Also included is a 22 page translation booklet in English with "The Life and Work of Samuel Thomas von Soemmerring", as well as text explaining each plate and illustration in each of the three volumes.
