The first issue with the article, "The Flood in the Office" which caused a libel suit and was subsequently removed in the second issue. A Very Good book with toning to the textblock and offsetting to the preliminaries; dust jacket is Very Good with a bit of edge wear and notable toning.
Sinopsis
This collection of articles, essays, reviews, and poems, written by the author of A Passage to India, contains such well-known pieces as "Notes on the English Character,' 'Adrift in India," and "Me, Them and You." Also collected are essays on literary figures whose work Forster especially admired.
