An early member of the radical feminist group Redstockings, Ms Cisler's important & prescient essay focuses on anti-abortion tactics & argues that settling for reform to existing law would result in a situation "in which abortion is grudgingly parceled out by hospital committee fiat to the few women who can 'prove' they've been raped, or who are crazy, or are in danger of bearing a defective baby." Quite uncommon, OCLC finds a single copy at the Wisconsin Historical Society.
