Sobre este artículo

Londres / London: Chez Jean Nourse, 1741. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo. xvi, 376, [3] pages. Hardcover bound in full leather. The binding shows heavy wear, and the boards are bowed outwards at the edges. The leather is cracked and chipped, especially at the spine ends. The front hinge is cracking, but the text block is sound. Marbled endpapers are worn and chipped. The title page is soiled, and the text block is mostly clean but has some stains. All edges red. A rough translation of the title into English is, "Abridged from Mr. Locke's Essay on Human Understanding, Translated from English.

Sobre Pages Past Used and Rare Books

Pages Past is a small used & rare bookshop located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
