Full leather binding with splits in leather down the centre of the spine and over the lower part of the front joint, corners are bumped and scuffed and covers are scuffed, no front end-paper or anything else before title-page, rear end-paper is present. Title-page has short tears, separation between pages 194 and 195 and also 214 and 215, first rear end-paper is missing, first and last few pages are smudged. First edition of this abridged edition.
