Octavo, [32], 319, [1]; 386 pages; G-; Bound in full brown leather. Some cracking at spine; rubbing to edges and corners of binding, generalized rubbing to boards. Engraved title page is a modern facsimile; original now lacking. Some wear to text block, including chipping to edges of some pages. Small scattered stains.Open tear to lower right corner of p. 243 (text not impacted). Damp staining on p. 283-378. The first leaf is blank. Lacking other plates and the three final advertisement leaves. "Book II. Of the life and reign of King Edward the VI" (caption title) has separate pagination and register.
