Bound in the original purplish-brown cloth, stamped "Patent Office Report 1851-2, Agricultural" in shiny gold on the spine. The spine's background color has uniformly mellowed a shade or two to a light brown. Front and rear covers are both blindstamped with a patriotic eagle/shield symbol. NOT a library discard.
