New York:Random House, 1936. First Edition. hard cover. Very Good/Good. New York:Random House. 1936. 1st edition. 384pp, with folding map at rear. Hardcover with dust jacket. Book is in very good clean condition with just of hint of soil to rear board. Internally, pages clean and bright, free of any previous owners marks or signatures. The dust jacket is in good condition, still in one piece but soiled and worn at all edges and folds with small chips and tears at edges/folds.
Sinopsis
William Cuthbert Faulkner was born in 1897 and raised in Oxford, Mississippi, where he spent most of his life. One of the towering figures of American literature, he is the author of The Sound and the Fury , Absalom, Absalom! , and As I Lay Dying , among many other remarkable books. Faulkner was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1950 and France’s Legion of Honor in 1951. He died in 1962.
