'I love continuity Polaroids- the snaps taken purely for work purposes to ensure you look the same from scene to scene, and enable you to remember how the hair was and which finger the rings were on. We end up with hundreds after every production. I love the incongruous backgrounds and the fact that the clothes are the character's but it is the actor posing for the shot- sometimes not posing, sometimes asleep, bored, pi**ed off, messing around... These are photos I relate to because it's "us" with a little bit of "them".' (from the back cover)
