Sobre este artículo
Adyar: The Theosophical Publishing House, 1961. Octavo. Third edition. Portrait frontispiece, 297 pages. A remarkable book by a woman who not only was well-versed with the history of philosophy, but deeply interested in pedagogy. For those who have found the sad state of American publication lacking, here she has written a work on moral philosophy and the need not to merely talk about morals but to introduce them a all levels so a child senses them without necessarily naming its philosophers. For Montessori, the teacher's ability to set up an environment that allows children to cultivate their own moral sense is essentialf morally good actions. In 2015 Patrick R. Frierson's article in the History of Philosophy Quarterly, pp.271-292 show how deep her moral sense was developed in a sense of "moral theory". Bound in brown paper covered boards lettered in black, spine lettering black, spine faded and some droplets to spine and a bit of tiny spots of foxine to page edges. A very good copy.
