Jacket quite edgeworn and rubbed, with large chips at head and tail of spine. A tight and nice first edition, with ownership signature on front flyleaf of academic and literary critic Joseph J. Waldmeir (1923-2013), author of such titles as "Recent American Fiction: Some Critical Views" (1963) and "American Novels of the Second World War" (1969).
