NY: William Morrow. Good in Poor dust jacket. 1955. Second Printing. Hardcover. Dust jacket is very worn around edges with several short tears and about 1" chipped away at bottom of spine. Also the jacket spine has a square scuff near bottom where it appears a price sticker was removed. Dust jacket is from a 1957 third printing and has been married to this second printing copy. Small water ring to lower right of front cover cloth, and another much fainter one higher up the front cover, also 2 small drip stains. Some soiling also to the back cover, edgewear to cover cloth at all corners and at the head and tail of spine. The spine cloth and embossed title and author are faded, hard to read without direct light shining on writing. A very few small ink checkmarks in margins, small yellowed tape stain near top of front pastedown, small inkstamp near top of front free end-paper "Billy N. Turley & Co. , Hamlin, W.
