Hardcover, no jacket. Top edges gilt. Illustrated with eight full-page plates in color, numerous illutrations from photographs, and maps. In VG condition. Gilt decorated blue hardcover boards are lightly rubbed with gilt titling to spines a bit darkened. Gilt decoration to covers still bright. Dust spotting to foredges. Otherwise internally clean and unfoxed, square and securely bound. Foldout map at back of Vol 1 is in fine condition. Adventures of Savage-Landor exploring the interior of Brazil in 1911-12. He was an English explorer, writer, and anthropologist, know for a "witty" writing style, and also known for his explorations in Nepal and China.. (cfm)
