Sobre este artículo
The Detective Book Club produced volumes of three crime novels from 1942 to 1999. Originally monthly, near the end they dwindled down to just a few per year. Many famous detective and crime novelists had their early works featured in DBC editions. Often, books were published in DBC editions before, or at the same time as they were published in mass market form. A little about our authors:
Margaret Yorke: Yorke wrote 43 mystery novels, published between 1957 and 2001. These included the five novel Patrick Grant series. Yorke died in 2012.
Edward I. Koch and Wendy Corsi Staub: Well known former New York City Congressperson and mayor, Koch has dabbled in writing since he retired from politics. He has penned seven nonfiction works, two children's books and four mysteries, all of which he wrote with an established mystery writer. Three of his mysteries feature himself as the sleuth, and three have been written with the collaboration of Wendy Corsi Staub, a writer of over fifty novels in her won right. This is the third mystery with Koch as detective.
R. J. Cohn: Sometimes, I am unable to come up with much biographical information about a writer. This is one of those cases. Cohn's first novel, included here, is set on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. There is some evidence that he may have written a second novel, but nothing else is available.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily.
