We offer the first issue of this Journal, which was published from Autumn 1981 (this issue) through the present, on a quarterly basis. It is not well distributed, with only 7 institutions in OCLC handling it thus far. It is worthwhile bibliographically to note that in this first issue the terminologies are laid out for names, abbreviations, and guidelines for how to submit material. Perhaps most interesting for collectors is a note to authors that "Fifty reprints of each article are granted free of charge, and additional copies may be purchased". It also notes that original papers will be discarded after 2 months unless the publisher is requested to return the material.
