Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of red boards, also some bowing; original owner's presentation label (undated) on f/ep, some yellowing to the outer pages, but otherwise not too bad. A story, written for older boys, dealing with a young merchant naval officer on a decrepit tanker sailing around the Caribbean. 259pp, colour frontispiece, 6 b&w drawings.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. Illus. by Johnston, Robert . 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
