The text is illustrated with the occasional black-and-white illustration, formulae and figures. Green coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A text book on engineering communication from the 1950s. This is an ex-library copy – from the Defence Standards Laboratories Library – and has the faults of same: – library stamps, including cancelled stamps, to the free front end page title page and to the rear end page. Numerous library notations in ink are also present and at the rear is a due back pocket. Library barcode to the lower left hand corner of the title page and top left hand corner of the front cover (cancelled) and library sticker to the lower text edge of the back strip. Rubbing of the book edges, panels and either side of the back strip. Softening of the back strip with light browning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages. Sunning of the back strip.
