Notas y descripción extendida
In a semi-autobiographical style, author Louise Glasser Hale spins a dizzying tale of a working stage actress' life as she travels the theater circuit both stateside and across the ocean in London, England. As Ms. Hale was both a stage and screen actress from the 1890s to the 1930s, her protagonist's story resonates as both truthful and accurate while remaining humorous and engaging.
