"Additional papers relating to the claim of Manuel X. Includes letter of Colonel Doniphan, showing that the seizure of said property was by his order, and that the object of the seizure was the protection and advantage of the army; Authentic copy of the proceedings of the government of Chihauhua, in the seizure and confiscation of said goods as property of the United States; Translation of the above; Deposition of Captain John W. Reed; Certificate of Lieut. Andrew J. Dorn; and Supplemental Petition by Manuel X. Harmony. 17 pp. Disbound. Last two pages starting to separate. Otherwise document in Very Good condition..
