Light green printed and stapled wraps. 11pp. James Farley was among the first Irish-Catholics to achieve political success at a high level in the U.S. as Postmaster General and the Chairman of the DNC and is widely seen as responsible for F.D.R.'s rise to the presidency, particularly in forging alliances among Catholics, African-Americans, labor unions and farmers. Very scarce; OCLC locates no copies in library holdings. Light creasing (likely from being originally mailed in an envelope), wraps lightly soiled and age-toned. Small, light waterstain on one corner, affecting only outer wraps.
