Quarto in full vellum with beautiful and elaborate gilt design on the front cover, tight binding, pages bright and unsullied, the cover has a slight warp, very very faint smudging of edge, tiny tear to edge of p. 229, otherwise clean and nicely presentable. 234pp, 20 color tipped-in plates with printed tissue guards, plus numerous black and white illustrations. Nice copy. .
