NY: Appleton, 1852. First edition.. cat40a. [302]pp. + 5 leaves of ads at rear. Yellow coated end papers. All edges gilt. Red cloth designed and lettered in gilt. Wear to spine ends, some chipping to lower tips and base of spine, tear along rear hinge at top of spine, a couple of signatures starting; still, quite a bright copy, very good otherwise. This collaborative novel is a tale of slavers, murder and revenge. Wright III: 1334.
