Signed on prelim as presentation copy by Julio Guardia, to whom Crockett has dedicated the book, writing "in recognition of the unwearied friendship which made this book possible" [from dedication page]. A nice association copy. Inner front hinge just starting and boards lightly shaken, though still a very good copy of an attractive book.. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Gordon Browne. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
