Octavo, xii, 322pp. Rebound in brown cloth, with original publisher's cloth laid down on spine and front cover, title stamped in gilt on spine. Original cloth has some spotting and a few blemishes. New endpapers, untrimmed pages. Light toning to pages, intermittent finger marks and soiling to text pages. Light dampstaining to half-title, frontispiece and title page. Brief pencil notation on page 313. Complete with 8 in-text illustrations and engraved frontispiece portrait with tissue guard. (Sabin 38915) (Westwood & Satchell, p. 130) A nice example. Published the same year in Philadelphia with the title: A Tour to the River Saguenay, in Lower Canada, but without the engraved frontispiece portrait.
