Francois is a choirboy/thief in Paris who with lots of charm and guile lives a life of picking pockets until the Reign of Terror when he by chance meets with the Marquis St. Luce whom he fights crowds with and gets him out of prison to a new life in the countryside and a possible meeting with the Marquis' daughter. A clean very presentable copy.
