Sobre este artículo

New York: The Macmillan Company. Near Fine in Very Good dj. 1931. First Edition. Hardcover. [very minor shelfwear, a remarkably clean and solid copy, small vintage price sticker (from The White House, San Francisco department store) on rear pastedown; jacket has a large chunk missing at upper corner of rear panel (no loss of any text), a couple of tiny closed tears, very slight paper loss at a couple of corners]. "Hawke was a thoroughly bad hombre; he killed, staged hold-ups, rustled horses, and ran crooked gambling joints. But he never double-crossed a friend, a partner, or even a 'sucker' who trusted him, and to abuse a woman or a child was to invite his swift and devastating rage." A prolific pulp writer with hundreds of published stories to her credit, the author worked mostly in the Western genre, but also contributed to "Weird Stories" and wrote a handful of mystery/detective novels in the 1940s and 1950s. .
