Hardcover without dust jacket, vi + 207 pages, plus "twelve full-page illustrations in colour---" (of which only eight are present, and one of them is torn across, but all bright and colourful); covers rubbed, moderate shelf wear to all edges, traces of faded old staining, but tight in binding although cracks are starting inside, both endpapers and all pages preceding title page have been removed, light to moderate foxing on roughly a third of the pages, but all pages otherwise clean and unmarked..
