The guide also includes lists of religious journals, medical and surgical journals, agricultural papers, educational periodicals. The large section of advertisements for individual publications, occasionally illustrated with engravings, include circulation figures and advertising rates. A history of the newspaper press. Clean violet color cloth slightly faded at spine with gilt lettering. Tight, clean & intact copy. Light scuffing at spine end/corners. 2" mend to front internal hinge: cover firmly attached. 208 pages of text, 144 pages of advertisements some with illustrations. Business; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 352 pages .
