Three-quarter leather binding with marbled end papers and raised bands on the spine. "In a Series of Letters, Addressed to a Youth, a Bachelor, a Lover, a Husband, a Father, a Citizen or a Subject."
Condition:
Some rubbing of the marbled paper over the boards; worn corners; the top of the spine is chipped; the label on the spine is chipped along the left and right edges; small, light stain at the bottom of the front cover. The front end paper has nearly separated from the spine and is attached by only a string. Scattered mild foxing and browning to the pages. There is an old bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. No writing found. There is a crack at the front hinge resulting in the front cover being shaky.
