Good+: shows moderate wear to extremities; barely discernible spine lean; eighth-inch tear in the fabric at the head of the backstrip; front free endpaper has been removed and the binding reglued; faint soiling; backstrip considerably dulled, affecting the legibility of the titles, which nevertheless can still be read; top edge well dusted. Binding secure; text clean. Despite noted flaws, remains clean, sturdy, and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. 363pp. 24 illustrative black & white photographic plates. Rust colored cloth over boards, with Gilt designs at front panel and backstrip; black titles at same. Hardback: No DJ 'as issued'.
